ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT INFORMATION
- New and Transfer students must first complete their admission application process. They are then sent instructions for making an appointment for academic advisement/registration through their NCC student email account. See a preview of the Advisement and Registration Guide for the New Student.
- Picture ID is required to sign-in for Academic Advisement: NCC photo ID card, Government issued photo ID or High School photo ID with a copy of birth certificate.

Liberal Arts Students with one or no remedial courses: Visit the Academic Advisement Center located in Building U. Students should seek advisement ASAP since advisement availability will be limited once new students are invited. For students who need to be advised by department faculty, see the list below to contact the appropriate department to make an appointment.

All Liberal Arts Students on"B" academic standing contact the office of the Center for Educational and Retention Counseling (CERC) located in Building M (Nassau Hall), Room 19. Please call for hours at: 516.572.7506.
All students on "D" probation academic standing seeking advisement must see a counselor from the Center for Educational and Retention Counseling (CERC) located in Building M, Room 19. Please call for hours at: 516.572.7141.
If you are currently enrolled in English as a Second Language classes: ENG 001 or 030, RDG 030 and/or COM 030, you must see an ESL advisor. ESL advisement is located in the Academic Advisement Center, Building U. ESL Advisement hours: Mondays: 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
