The Federal Work-study program is a federally funded financial aid employment program. To be eligible a student must be matriculated and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits. Eligibility is based on need as determined by the FAFSA and the availability of funds. Recipients of this program must be making satisfactory academic progress.
A FWS award does not guarantee a job on campus. There are 3 steps that must be taken in order to receive the benefit of the Federal Work-study program.
