The Job Placement Office maintains a wide variety of positions for our students and alumni. You may view our jobs online, and then come into our office to find out more about an opening and to be referred for a position. Appointments are recommended.

Individualized Counseling
Counselors are on hand to provide one-on-one assistance with preparing a resume, cover letter, or thank-you letter. You can also meet with a counselor to discuss job search strategies or have a videotaped mock interview.
Campus Recruiting
Throughout the fall and spring semesters, on an informal basis, employers come on campus to recruit students and alumni for a variety of positions. Call the Job Placement Office for recruiting schedules.
Job Fair
The 2012 Job Fair will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2011 from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
More than 100 companies and thousands of NCC students and alumni attend our annual job fair. The annual job fair is held in April. The 2011 Job Fair will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm in the Field House of the P Building. Registered companies and organizations include: Katz Media; Winthrop University Hospital; UPS; the Young Adult Institute Network; the New York State Police and many more. The event is open to the entire NCC community. Business attire and resumes are strongly recommended.
Workshops
During the fall and spring semesters, workshops on resume and correspondence preparation, the job search process, and interviewing techniques are offered.
Classroom Presentations
Faculty may request classroom presentations on job readiness skills.
