Empire State College will offer AS degree graduates in Nursing from Nassau Community College an opportunity to participate in the Pathways transfer program into the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing program. NCC graduates meeting the ESC's admission requirements will become Empire State College students upon admission.
Admission Requirements:
Each participating student will be able to transfer all credits earned as part of his/her associate's degree to Empire State College, up to 80 credits. The minimum number of credits to be taken as ESC would be 48 advanced-level credits, which would include 40 credits in Nursing. Additional credits may be awarded for students who have life and work experience considered equivalent to college-level learning. A maximum of 96 total credits may be transferred to Empire State College from a combination of Nassau Community College coursework and prior learning assessment.
Nursing students may enroll at Empire State College on a full or part-time basis. Students may elect to follow a two-year or three-year program track.

About the Major
The RN to BSN program at SUNY Delhi provides educational mobility for registered nurses who are seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The curriculum is designed with the working registered nurse in mind and
offers versatility and flexibility as the program is 100% online. Precepted practicum experiences for select courses are completed in the student's community. The program emphasizes critical thinking and
practice skills necessary for clinical management of patient within a constantly changing health environment.

In order to provide a pathway to a baccalaureate degree in nursing, an Accelerated Articulation Agreement has been developed between Nassau Community College and Farmingdale State College. NOTE: This program only accepts students for the Fall semester.
