The Nassau Review Writer Awards

The winners of the 2012 Writer Awards are
JodiAnn Stevenson for her poem, "A Thousand Birds," and
Dan Berkowitz for his flash fiction piece, "Sourpuss."
The winners of the May 2011 Writer Awards are
Katie Manning for her poem, “Sleeping Beauty’s Mother,” and
Liz Dolan for her creative non-fiction piece, "What's Like What."
These pieces will appear in our upcoming issue of The Nassau Review.
All submissions received during the submission period will be considered for the Writer Awards. Every period will offer $250 for prose and $250 for poetry.
Members of the Nassau Community College community are not eligible to win these awards. Members of the NCC community include past and current staff, faculty, and administrators as well as current students. Alumni students are eligible.
