Garden City, NY The Theatre and Dance Department at Nassau Community College is proud to present the popular musical Little Shop of Horrors, based on the film by Roger Corman. The play will be performed March 13 through 15, March 20 through 22 and March 27 through 29 at the Mainstage Theatre.
Little Shop of Horrors is the story of nebbishy Seymour Krelbourn, who discovers a new breed of plant with a taste for human blood. Seymour longs to be more than he is and yearns with desire for his lovely co-worker Audrey, who's stuck in a violent relationship with a self-destructive dentist. Audrey II, the man-eating plant from outer space, forever changes the fortunes of Seymour and his little flower shop on New York's Lower East Side.
Tickets for Little Shop of Horrors cost $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors over 55 and NCC employees, and $7.00 for children under 18. Tickets purchased at the box office at the time of performance are free for those with a valid current student college I.D. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. For more information, call the Theatre box office at 516.572.7676.
